Let’s Talk About Money: Bank On It

Curious about banking services and how to build a good relationship with a financial institution? Learn about the major types of insured financial institutions and find out the five reasons to use a bank. Participants will also learn the steps involved in opening a bank account and the different types of deposit accounts, and become knowledgeable about additional bank services.

Jackson District Library is pleased to offer “Bank On It,” the third in a series of workshops to help you improve your money management. This free workshop, presented by Teresa Clark Jones, MSU Extension, will be on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Carnegie Library, 244 West Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49201.

Registration is requested: please call the Reference Department at 517-788-4087, extension 1339. Refreshments will be provided and free childcare will be available.

The Let’s Talk About Money workshops are free and made possible by a grant from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation through Smart investing@your library®, a partnership with the American Library Association.
